"...For in this hour when the dying night lingers
Unwilling to surrender its wakening darkness
Over your face and fevered brow, my torn fingers
Will stray bringing such comfort
As may calm your doubting heart."

~Abioseh Nicol (poet from Sierra Leone)

All of the information we've presented so far means next to nothing without thoughtful reflection and discussion
to solidify it. We have set up a discussion board using the Juniata Forums for convenience and familiarity. This
Forum is limited to members of the Juniata community only.

To access the discussion, follow the link to the Juniata Forums:
http://forums.juniata.edu
After logging in (in the upper right corner), you will see the menu of forum topics.
Under the "Campus Topics" heading, look for the Forum entitled Summer Reading 2007: A Long Way Gone.

Please take the time to share your thoughts and respond to somebody else's. We each know how we feel personally
about the book; we want to hear from other people now! We enourage you to speak freely and openly about
whatever is on your mind regarding this book and any related subjects. We do ask, however, that you maintain
respect for others and their opinions at all time. We are all here to share and to learn.

Be sure to check the Forum frequently for updates. If (like us) you're likely to forget without helpful reminders,
you can also subscribe to the Forum. Once you're on the Forum's page, click on "Forum Tools" (on the right
side of the page) and select "Subscribe to This Forum." You will be given the option to select your notification
preference -- daily or weekly e-mail updates.

Let the games begin!

Yours in thinking, evolving, and acting,
Sarah and Mary
